
Many animals are notorious for stealing small cameras, luckily in many cases the owner usually gets the camera back. That did not seem to be the case back in May when some rangers in Australia were attempting to capture video of alligators in fresh water when this eagle came through and stole the camera.
The camera had been left by the rangers to monitor the alligators in the area, but when they returned to check on it the camera was gone. The missing camera remained an “unsolved mystery” until just recently when a ranger from another park some 100km away found the camera and returned it to its rightful owners.
What they found on the camera was some interesting footage of a Sea Eagle stealing the camera and proceeding to try and eat it, in the process taking several “selfies”. Check it out below.
