Ok, so I know SLR Lounge is primarily a photography community. But look, since DSLRs have started to crank out some ridiculously awesome video capabilities, we feel like the lines between photography and videography are getting blurred. We would eventually like to provide content for both fields, but for now, we will just continue posting stuff that is useful.
That’s why today we are going to feature this little video done by JakFoto on DSLR Shutter Speeds. Kiera Faye of JakFoto Productions does an excellent job of not only explaining, but also showing how your Shutter Speed affects motion while recording video.
We found it quite informative, and we think you guys will too. Not to mention, I have to say that I am quite impressed that Kiera can do her dance while teaching the entire time. Very talented multi-tasker right there.
Enjoy!

Nice and clear explanations, thank you! Funny with the Bloopers at the end! Nice shirt btw, is that the Tardis from doctor Who ;0) ?
I love these video tips! Seriously.
Good tips, I was aware of this information prior, but it was great to see a practical comparison of the different speeds.
