DJI Phantom & Zenmuse Price Drop Across The Board

By Kishore Sawh on August 4th 2016

Camera drones, amidst skepticism, have come be sewn into the fabric of modern photographic tech and they aren’t going anywhere but (forgive the pun) up. Perhaps the company coming out with some of the most consistently inspired pieces of drone tech has been DJI, and while their prices haven’t been outlandish, they haven’t been entirely inexpensive either. However, DJI’s aerial photo line-up has had a price reduction across most of the range as of today.

Given that camera drones now feature heavily in the work of wedding photographers, adventure photographers, architectural guys and videographers to name a few, this price reduction will be welcomed by many. Prices have dropped along the spectrum of the following drones and accessories:

DJI Inspire 1 PRO Quadcopter with Zenmuse X5 4K Camera and 3-Axis Gimbal $3399 (was $3899)

DJI Zenmuse X5 Camera and 3-Axis Gimbal with 15mm f/1.7 Lens $1799 (was $2199)

DJI Zenmuse X5 Camera and 3-Axis Gimbal $1299 (was $1699)

DJI 512GB SSD for Zenmuse X5R Camera $999 (was $1500)

DJI 512GB SSD for Zenmuse X5R Camera (3-Pack) $2499 (was $3000)

DJI Phantom 4 Quadcopter (was$1399) + free SAEMSD64GBU

DJI Phantom 4 Quadcopter Kit with Spare Battery $1299 (was$1479)

DJI Phantom 4 Quadcopter Kit with Two Spare Batteries $1399

With the demand for drone work continually growing, and with DJI being one of the top companies out there that’s up with the times on tech and on Drone safety and GeoFencing, it’s a surprise to see this level of reductions, but all the better for us.
