Women are sometimes compared to flowers because both can be seen as soft, sweet and delicate. Clearly, no one has ever compared me to a flower, but you understand my point. In any case, nature can definitely draw parallels between the fragile beauty of a flower and a woman, and none so exquisitely demonstrated by this series of images from photographer Lara Kiosses.
Her sensual series uses double exposure to mix beautiful flowers and women in one seamless image. Aptly titled, “Romantic Collection,” the series integrates the femininity of both female and blossom. Lara, born in Paris, raised in Africa, is a self taught photographer whose work is very female oriented, using mostly female subjects in a dreamy, surreal theme.
Lara is represented by Blossom Talent, a production company that specializes in the plant world with stylists, photographers, illustrators and sculptors whose work features the elegance of the perennial world. You can see more of Lara’s work with florals on Blossom Talent and on her WEBSITE.
