Big Savings on Nikon & Canon Top Crop Bodies & Base FF Bodies End Tonight!

By Anthony Thurston on January 30th 2016

Welcome to our Deal Dash segment, where we scour the web for the best deals on camera, lenses, lighting, and other gear for photographers. There are always great deals to be found over on B&H and Amazon a lot also, so make sure to check out those two websites.

Today we are going with a bit of a theme, high-end crop and baseline full frame DSLRs, four deals in all. The catch is that these deals end today, at 11:59 pm EST, so jump on them quick! Happy Savings!

Canon 7D Mark II – $330 Savings

Canon’s 7D Mark II is currently the best non-1D line sports/action/wildlife camera in the Canon arsenal. It features a best in class AF system with solid tracking and snappy point-to-point focus. It also features a very rugged build and can take a beating.

Currently, the 7D Mark II can be had for $300 off the normal sticker price, making it a steal for anyone looking for this class of camera. If you are interested, you can hop over to B&H to grab it while the savings last (tonight, 11:59 pm).

Nikon D610 – $500 SAVINGS

Nikon’s D610 is the base of their full frame totem pole, a capable camera in every sense of the term. Offering a solid 24.3MP sensor, a body layout familiar to DX shooters, and full compatibility with all of Nikon’s F-Mount lenses.

At the time of this post, the D610 is available for an incredible $500 off of the normal sticker price. But this deal only lasts until 11:59 pm (EST) tonight, so you need to jump on it quick. You can find it over on B&H here.

Canon 6D – $300 Savings

Like the camera mentioned above, the 6D is the base of Canon’s full frame totem pole. The thing to note about the 6D is that it shares more in common with its 5D Mark III brother than one might expect; it also brings WiFi to the table (and is the only currently available Canon full frame DSLR to do that).

Just as with the 7D Mark II, the Canon 6D can currently be grabbed for $300 off the normal sticker price. It is a killer camera, and if one does not need the few advantages of the 5D Mark III, the 6D is definitely a really solid way to go. Grab the 6D deal over on B&H here.

Nikon D7200 – $100 Savings

Nikon’s D7200 is the top currently available Nikon DX (APS-C) DSLR on the market. This camera features a solid 24MP sensor, 6FPS shooting, and fixes buffering issues that plagued earlier D7xxx models.  If you are not holding out for the soon to be available D500, the D7200 is a great way to go.

B&H has the D7200 for $100 off until tonight at 11:59 PM EST. If you are interested, you can grab the deal here.

Swing and a miss on the D7200 deal of the week. I’d have to say that goes to Adorama refurbished for $769.
But I like your updates anyway Anthony.

I generally don’t highlight referb deals, but yeah, for anyone who doesn’t care about new vs refurb, that is a killer deal.
