The time people spend wading through all this stuff is time largely wasted in not making images.
If you wish to spend money on books then buy books on photographers whose work you admire and have an affinity with. Study those.

Yes and no. It’s still good to do a bit of studying too, it’s all about finding a balance. Personally with all that info I probably would spend all my time indoors reading and not shooting.

Better to absorb it a book at a time then take what you learned out into the real world for an equal length of time.

      Hi Dustin,
      Quite agree, no argument.
I only had one ‘How Too’ book and that was John Hedgecoe’s excellent, ‘A photographers Handbook’. Film days of course. Granted I did several years later go onto do a BA (Hons) in Photographic Studies as I realised there was a lot more to photography than that illustrated with these types of books.

There is now such an industry of these; Make this that and the other better, Mastering (sic) techniques for whatever. Must be quite bewildering for those starting out.
Probably as so many pro photographers are looking for other income streams and writing how too books is one solution, running courses being another.

    Too much to grasp..

Wow, a lot of stuff here. So do you pick a bundle (ie beginner, intermediate) or is it all included under the $97 deal?

    • Christopher

each bundle has a different price … getting all of them is honestly not a bad decision .. then setting goals to get through one per month or so

It’s not money that’s holding me back, it’s time. Would love to dive into all this content. GREAT deal.
