By Anthony Thurston on April 21st 2014

If you are a Canon shooter who has been contemplating a move to full frame,  now may be a good time to make the move. B&H Photo currently has a couple of great deals on refurbished Canon 6Ds both in the kit ($2,099) and body only ($1619).

If you are interested in the body only you can grab that here, and if you are interested in the kit, you can grab that here.

Canon 6D Specs

[REWIND: Making The Jump: Upgrading to the Canon 6D]

Canon 6D

  • 20.2MP Full-Frame CMOS Sensor
  • 3.0″ Clear View High Resolution LCD
  • DIGIC 5+ Image Processor
  • Built-In Wi-Fi and GPS Connectivity
  • Full HD 1080p with Manual Controls
  • 11-Point AF with Center Cross-Type Point
  • 63-Zone Dual Layer Metering Sensor
  • Extended ISO Range of 50-102400
  • Up to 4.5 Full Resolution FPS
  • Built-In HDR and Multiple Exposure Modes

In case you did not know, I am a big fan of the 6D. I was honestly not expecting to like it as much as I did, coming from the 7D. Really, as a wildlife and sports shooter, my only real complaint is the 4.5 FPS. Otherwise, I have been blown away by the 6D, its low light capabilities are amazing and the image quality is outstanding.

If you are interested in the body only you can grab that here, and if you are interested in the kit you can grab that here.

If you do a little more shopping you’ll find it even cheaper. I only paid $1599 for my copy, and it is brand new!

I found a NEW Canon EOS 6D advertised on Canon Rumors for only $1599. It included body, battery, strap, software, and cables. I bought one, it cost less than a refurbished off Canons website. It was bought at Getitdigital.com. No sales tax, like charged at the Canon factory site.

Title should probably be something like ‘Deal Alert: Refurb Canon 6D From $1619’
