    Wim, I see a lot of potential with a shot like this. I like how the pose works with the shadow! Since the couple are very cool and other parts are warm, I think converting to B&W would be beneficial. I also think a vertical crop with the couple centered would help the composition and focus. If the crop eliminated the warm light on the right, you could then color correct for the cooler temp. 

    If I were to recreate this shot, I’d move closer to the subject so the flash is below the frame, orient my camera to portrait (vertical), and then focus past the couple to their shadow on the wall.  I would also raise the flash power and lower the ISO so there is less ambient light (windows and outdoor tungsten bulbs) affecting the scene.
