Spend as much time studying your surroundings as you do your subject otherwise its easy to miss distracting elements like this plant! So easy to do! Dave

Skin tones look nice and the faces are well exposed! Nice one! Dave

Settings: Remember that general rule of shooting with a shutter speed of at least your focal length (ideally a little more!) to avoid camera shake! Like binoculars, the more zoomed in you are the more your shaking is exaggerated. Less of an issue if the lens had VR but a good practice to get into! Dave

first thing i noticed was her boots. I would shape her legs differently.

All of Mr. Hill’s points are valid, as usual. I’d also add perhaps crop this composition a little tighter. With regard to the boots, having her put her feet one step down and not flat against the step would lengthen her torso and remove much of the boot.
