Well done Mark. A couple of comments on the composition. First, the lighting from the bridges come out of both the subjects heads. I would suggest shooting this more at their head level to give some separation between their head and the structures. Secondly, I’d suggest opening the pose a little. A little more “V” to emphasize lighting on the bridge supports. Just my amateur thought. Cool setting. Dan

Hey Mark! Great spot to shoot with great colours etc! Nice one! personal choice perhaps, but I would avoid ‘hand on butt’ pose……its ok but verging on him looking like ‘he’s about to give it a squeeze!’ Experiment with a different area to hold! Dave

Avoid cutting frame/crop through joints. Just above knee ok or just below mid shone etc. Dave

She is just about ‘turning away from us’ which places more emphasis onto him as I can see more of his face. If that was your intention then cool. If not, like Dan says, ‘open’ the pose a little more. Dave

With them so ‘close to me’ in the shot, I dont see these as ‘leading lines’…..I just notice them sticking out of their heads (sorry and not meant rudely!) If possible, would have tried to avoid that. Dave

I see.. I might try this with a different height to make the area lines above come out of the shoulders instead next time

Overall a ‘pass’ to me as I think you have added the right amount of light. They dont have that ‘photoshopped’ in look at all! Nice one! Dave

I would crop into where I have placed this marker (appreciate that moves away from your vision!). I personally dont like these wholes either side of the image. You can experiment with what I mean on here simply buy zooming in a little. You can then crop them just above the knee too Another advantage as those orange yellow lines above (poking out) of their heads become less prominent. I expect you will hate all of that! Sorry! Enjoyed the shot though…..Dave

Thanks Dave, I actually tried to darken this area but it was too obvious.. I was kind of banking on orange light leading to their heads to direct attention
