will it make better if I had shown the surroundings of the car?

I think you have a few things to think about.

    1. Composition – the placement of the car is odd and off centered causing the viewer to wonder what is the focus. As of now its in the lower and almost the right third but not enough. Should just be centered and lower third.

    2. Brightest Parts of the Image – this is what most people gravitate towards and thus, you should use that. right now its the headlights. They are larger than the couple and brighter so that’s where my eye goes and has a hard time leaving.

    3. The ribbons across the face

    4. Definitely too much black. Very very black. We need some image tone to give a sense of place and time. More on the BG and more on the street below. It doesn’t have to be bright but just something visible and not absolute black.

Overall –  The light on the couple and pose is good. You just have too many things for the viewer to get past to see it. Good idea, you just need to tweak and things to remember for next time.
