    Great question, Greg. Unfortunately, like depth of field on a normal lens, if you want more in focus, you’re going to have to compromise by accepting less-shallow DOF too.

    Stopping down on a TS lens would indeed create a bigger strip of focus, however it would also decrease the edge blur. There’s really no way around this; you can try playing with tilting the lens a little less in the first place, and/or you can try just re-blurring the edges a little bit more in post-production.

    To be honest though, I think this shot looks gorgeous just the way it is! I would have been OK with the DOF being this shallow / thin, because I don’t think the slight blur that is just to the left and right of the couple is really that distracting. I say, well done!
