Hi Greg, Lighting is very good! Did you add light?

I noticed that although the couple looks really good, most people around them seem uninterested. I would try cropping the guests and keep the nice lit couple with the fun dutch tilt. This should also minimize the fact that the symmetrical staircases are unbalanced with the tilt.

I’m impressed that you lit the scene so well, and got great timing on the moment for the couple themselves; although it’s unfortunate that some of the guests aren’t as excited as they could be. For this reason, sometimes I prefer to actually shoot with a more harsh, dramatic flash, snooted or gridded even, so that the light only shines directly on them instead of a bounced flash that fills the entire room. this would de-emphasize things like the guests who aren’t watching, and would give the scene a more accurate feel compared to the dim lighting that is usually natural in such venues. (meaning, this is what it looks like with all the lights turned on, but if the room was more dimly lit in real life, that’s what people are going to remember, of course.f)

Also, I would quickly clone these out, if the image were going to go onto a blog post or social media, or into an album, etc.
