    Love the spacing! I think if anything, he could have been standing just one or two inches closer to her, so that his legs appear just a bit closer to hers, but their upper bodies could be exactly the same. Nicely done! The only thing I can suggest is to accent his jacket just a touch more so that it stands out against the door just a tiny bit more.

    Also, there’s a point here where his hair tone and the door are basically identical, and such like-tone situations can cause the outline of the subject to become less emphasized. But again just a touch of burning & dodging could do the trick. I would leave it exactly the way it is unless the image was going into an album or a print, actually. Well done!

    In a straight-on scene like this, don’t forget to also crouch down for at least one shot, right at ground level, so that you can include their feet.
