Show Critique
We sat on some logs while walking in the woods and I was trying to get a natural pose.

Great Photo Dave, I just have a few minor critiques. 1) the highlight in the background on the left is a bit distracting, maybe you should tone down that spot a bit so that eyes don’t wonder to that area. 2) She has a highlight on the chin, that stands out a bit, tone that down as well would maybe make it better. 3) I think that shooting this at a more shallow DOF like 2.8 would have been better because it would draw more of the focus into her (subject) and less on the branches. Overall this is a good capture and worthy of complements, the expression is spot on and the color are vivid and lively. Love it.

Nice shot Dave. Good call putting her in the shade to get even lighting on her face though it’s caused parts of the background to be blown out – shifting to the left a bit and pivoting to get more of the shade in the shot and cut out those highlights would help make the girl stand out more. Solid pose.

Great photo Dave! The only call out i would have on this photo would be the blowout highlights in the background as it’s distracting and pulls my attention away from the sweet little girl. Overall great job!
