    Hi Crystal,

I think that despite the great overall moment here, it’s suffering from an ephasis of focus, due to the depth of field, framing, and general textures/clutter in the whole scene.

For example, I love the ripples of the water, and the clouds in the sky, they’re really beautiful! However after my eye is done looking at those things, it can’t tell whether to look at the people on the left edge, or to continue exploring around the scene on the right. If this were a candid action shot, the people in the shot ought to be more centrally framed. If this were a more landscape/seascape shot, then I’d have simply waited until the action had subsided, and composed the shot so that any humans in the frame were just part of the overall scene.
