Oooh, an awesome job on the Whip Pan assignment! Well done Anuj. I like the brightness and balance of both the ambient and your flash, and I like the pose they’re doing here. Everything else technical look great too, from camera settings to post-processing.

One thing I would recommend is simply trying different “shakes” with the camera. In this one, it looks like the motion could have been a little more smooth. It all depends on the scene, the framing, and what lights are present in the background. Sometimes a single “whip” motion is better, sometimes a circular motion is better, and sometimes (like on the dance floor) a “wiggle” pan works too. But the important thing is that you’ve nailed the hardest part, now just keep playing around and experimenting! Also you can try putting a gel on your flash, and changing your white balance to either match or not match that gel, and thereby create creative color differences in the shot.
