Another closeup of the river at Great Falls National Park. This time in b&w. Thoughts on composition and shutter speed?

Wow, absolutely fantastic! This image really captures the essence of a wilderness river / fall. Sharp rocks, with biting detail and contrast, plus smooth water that blurs just perfectly. If you had gone even one stop faster with your shutter speed, at 5-8 seconds, let alone 2-4 seconds, the water would have just not looked as good.

I love how the composition has a bit of yin-yang thing going on. I do wish that the lighter parts of the rock had been brightened *slightly*, and that the shadowy parts of the rock had been just a little bit darker, especially on the lower right. I think that would have balanced the left-right, light-dark situation.
