    This is so beautiful. I love the colors and the light. If anything I’d say the position of the feet are a little odd. Gorgeous though. I love the way the purple pops in the scene!

    Hi Abigail! Thanks for sharing this image for critique. I think you’ve got a lot going for you in this image, the light is pretty perfect for portraits, and the overall exposure, tones and colors go very nicely. Her faint smile is a good match to the overall vibe of the scene, too.

    The main thing that seems out of place is her strong pose with this hand. A hand on the hip is a very strong statement for a pose, and it doesn’t seem to fit the softness of the rest of the elements in the image. I thin a simpler pose, such as her holding her hands relaxed in front of her, or behind her, would have suited the moment more.

    Alternately, if she wants to pull off the hand on the hip pose, she could relax her wrist a little more, so that the hand feels more natural instead of posed, and she could stare a bit more intensely into the camera, to match the stance.
