Creepy Pumpkin Carving Documented With Awesome Stop Motion Video

By Anthony Thurston on October 31st 2013

How do you document your carving of pumpkins? In my family it has always been a second thought, maybe a few snapshots here and there during the carving and then some pics afterwords when they are done.

Chris Soria, A Pumpkin carver based in Brooklyn,  spent 15 hours on this creepy pumpkin carving based on an illustration by Jason Smith. The carving, and resulting animated GIF, was paid for on commission by Ford. In addition to making the GIF Soria also put together this neat stop motion video of the process, and the decay of the pumpkin. Pretty cool stuff.
