Newborn photography fascinates me. Back when I was a new mommy, the extent of newborn photography was basically like any other portrait photography. The new trend of super creative newborn portraiture hadn’t peaked yet and the best we had was the white t-shirt and jeans matched with a white onesie and baby jeans portrait, which was precious, but nothing like it is today.
The recent trend in newborn portraiture is super creative, and simply adorable. Recently, I came across Kansas City photographer Anna Marie’s work and her series of images with the Newborn Princess theme. Using three popular Disney fairy tales, Anna Marie, with the help of her friend from Shoot Babe, a photography prop company who created the fantastic outfits, the two made Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Snow White come to life.
Check out adorable Aubrie who took on her role as Sleeping Beauty quite seriously:
Tell me that’s not the cutest thing you’ve seen all day! To see more of Anna Marie’s work as a newborn and family photographer, check out her website HERE.
