Contouring Makeup in Photoshop Tutorial

By Anthony Thurston on June 26th 2013

One of the toughest things about editing images when you are new to post production is just figuring out what to do with them. I’m not talking about with portraits or product photography where the editing is pretty straight forward, I’m talking about in your creative work – where you came up with the idea and now it’s up to you to have the final image come out the way you envisioned it.

I recently came across this great tutorial on contouring with makeup, and the post production that you can do with it afterword’s to really bring the shot up a couple of notches. This video is specifically related to zombie type makeup, but the techniques used to really bring out the contour can be applied to other makeup as well – just maybe not so pronounced as it is in the video.
