Canon Announces New 10-18mm F/4.5-5.6 IS STM

By Anthony Thurston on May 12th 2014

In addition to the new Canon 16-35mm F/4L IS that was just announced, Canon also announced a new lens for their EF-S line, a new 10-18mm F/4.5-5.6 IS STM. While this lens may not be quite as exciting as the 16-35mm, this looks to be a quality addition to the EF-S lineup of new STM lenses.

This lens should pair up nicely with the Canon 70D and its dual pixel technology, especially for you video shooters out there. The price for this new lens is also really attractive, at only $299 this should make for a great starting video lens for 70D users.
