BTS: The Slanted Lens Photoshoot with Octodome and the Sun. And fire.

The Slanted Lens

It’s always fun (and educational) whenever Jay P Morgan comes out with a video on The Slanted Lens. This time around, Jay took us behind the scenes on his photoshoot for a King Pong campaign in Malibu Beach (Summertime is here!). When not shooting video, Jay used the Photoflex Small Octodome as the key light and the sunlight as the rim light. He used the small Octodome because it creates a harder light that will mimic the sun better.

And once the sun starts to go down, Jay being Jay, lit the ping-pong table on fire. Gotta love that!

Be sure to watch the video all the way through. There’s always a surprise after the credits. And no, it’s not shawarma.

I love at the end that little girl grabbed the lens and dumped into the toilet LOL.
Great Tamron 24-70mm with VC vibration compensation,  I bought one also.  Absolutely one of the best.  I was debating should I go for the new Canon 24-70mm L II or this.  But I believe I made the right choice.  This lens will give you stunning images quality.  Sorry Canon :-P
