BTS Photos Show Iconic Movies on Set

By Jules Ebe on July 8th 2013

In a world inundated with CGI and green screens, it is easy to become nostalgic over cult classic films with their miniature cities or full-body costumes. Whether it is our favorite superhero or the creature that kept us up late at night, looking back to see what really made the movie magic happen is always fun – especially before some plundered the franchise *cough – Lucas Film – cough*.

If I’m being really nerdy (which you have to with this collection!) the first image attributed to Aliens (1979) can’t be, as it’s the Alien Queen, not seen until Aliens ;) Great to see that lot – I had a similarly weird experience a year or so back working on World War Z – we were based in the zombie holding area (!) so lots of Zs in full makeup/costume reading books, smoking ciggies, drinking coffee and playing with their mobile phones. ;)
