Broncolor Introduces the new Scoro WiFi/RFS2

By Brittany Smith on April 29th 2017

Broncolor just announced the successor to the creme-de-la-creme of their product line, the Scoro RFS. What happens when the best studio gear gets a product refresh? It would seem as if an already stellar product becomes more intuitive, innovative and user friendly.

The best features, such as the renowned Enhanced Color Temperature Control (ECTC) which is adjustable by 200k and the insane recycle time of .02 seconds in normal mode, are carried into the new Scoro. The biggest improvement is the introduction of WiFi capabilities and the upgraded RFS2 radio transmitter, enabling more accessibility as well as high speed sync.

The convenience of being able to control their ultra portable Siros line via smartphone and tablet has now been implemented and taken a step further. The Scoro can now be controlled by any wifi enabled Mac, PC, Android or iOS device sans any additional equipment.

The improved bronControl2 app (which is still in Beta) can also be used with the Siros line, allowing it to also be adjusted by Mac or PC.
