Lights. Camera. Fashion
Fashion Photography Exposed is taught by one of the co-founders of Breed, Melissa Rodwell. Melissa is a career fashion photographer who has established a name for herself by having her editorials published in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Genlux, and more.
Seeing how she lights, shoots and interacts with her models on each set makes Fashion Photography Exposed an invaluable to anyone that is serious about a career in fashion photography. You not only get to watch Melissa on 4 different shoots, she also spends plenty of time walking you through some of the images in her body of work, diving into the business and giving advice to new photographers.
It should be said this is not a beginner’s photography course, but rather a look at how to navigate the shrouded field, and how to execute the looks required to succeed.
This workshop includes and covers the following:
- Over 3 hours of instructional video
- A 20-page Lighting Diagram Booklet in High-Res PDF Format

Is this one the same that was released in 2011?
Yes, this is Melissa’s original course
Wow looks a comprehensive workshop. It’s nice to see chapters that address preparation and other none shooting topics.
You’re so right there, Paul. Courses like this, the types that aren’t addressing the mean, much less the absolute beginner, the devil is really in the details, and it’s more how to think and behave than steps to learn. it’s the harder stuff to teach and learn really.
