We’re currently working hard at SLR Lounge to produce our full review on this powerful new tool.Is it the new MUST-HAVE program for photographers everywhere?Or is it planned obsolescence, change just for the sake of change? The answer to that question will undoubtedly vary depending on the photographer…

When will slr have a tutorial series for Lightroom4 as you did with previous versions of LR?
We are actually recording the full DVD as we speak. We will be releasing the full DVD with over 100 tutorials by the end of March, and we will start posting 1-2 videos per week after we release the DVD. Stay tuned!
Considering I got Lightroom 3 for $80 during one o Amazon’s “lightning deals”, I have no problem dishing out another 80 for Lightroom 4. However, I’m still looking forward to SLR Lounge’s review and also agree with Stuart that even just being able to view video within Lightroom is pretty cool. And while it kind of requires a workaround, adding color corrections/effects to the video is also a big plus.
Can I upgrade from 2 to 4?
It has a HUGE new feature in my opinion. Video Editing!
Hâte de pouvoir bosser dessus pour mes photos de mariage et de tester la fonction gps avec mes photos de vacances :-)
