A Wild, Trippy, Hyperlapse Ride Through Los Angeles

By Hanssie on August 21st 2015

la-hyperlapseAnyone who has ever been in Los Angeles knows that it’s a juxtaposition of a crazy, trippy ride and stop dead in your tracks traffic. There’s so much to see and do in the City of Angels (as shown in this aerial video of LA we posted earlier this week), and the following hyperlapse takes you on a wild two-minute ride through some of the highlights.

This hyperlapse/timelapse made by Vadim Tereshchenko took much time and patience to perfect. Compiling numerous videos he made over a two year time period, Vadim would wait to capture the perfect light, setting, and conditions. Vadim also used “a lot of self-developed tricks and techniques in both the shooting and editing processes,” to create the following tour of LA. The hyperlapse perfectly captures the energy of La La Land – always bustling, never sleeping, bright, fast, and a little overwhelming.

The music, by Odesza, is perfect for the footage – the feel of a late-night dance party at a club with a hopping DJ and a cocktail in hand, which makes this the perfect video to start off your weekend.

Enjoy the ride.
