Well, that went by way too quickly. But, alas, my time with this beautiful lens is done. It is time to put pen to paper and give you my full review on the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art.
I am just going to come out and say it, there is no comparing the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art to the Canon 50mm F/1.8G. The Sigma is better in every aspect with the only exception being the cost. But still, there is a reason for the comparison you are about to see/read.
One of the biggest comparison tests with the new Sigma 50mm that I have personally been interested the one against the old Sigma 50mm F/1.4. I currently own the old version of the lens, and so I am particularly interested in if it is worth upgrading to the new one from the old one. Lets take a look and find out…
I am still hard at work on my full review of the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM Art, but I wanted to take a quick break and do a comparison to the Canon 50mm F/1.2. The Canon is widely considered the best 50mm you can get for Canon (manual focus Zeiss not included) and so I wanted to see how the new Sigma stacks up.
