Brilliant little trick. I have an LG 21:9 ultra wide monitor and I never use all that real estate when retouching…until now!
With respect to trick 5, if you have a second monitor then you can pop the newly created window out of Photoshop and drag it to the other display. Much better than a side-by-side crammed into the same area.
The next thing I need to do is figure out how to make a script in Photoshop to do that with a click or two.
All new tricks for me, so that was well worth watching!
Why didn’t I know how to have the same file as two windows a decade ago? That sweet little trick will be incorporated into my workflow immediately.
I already use the Two Up Vertical window display for retouching, but the others are pretty new. Nice vid!
I’m adept at about 2% of Photoshop. The rest is just an amazing mass of goodness that I never get to see.
