Warm Vintage Photoshop Actions Overview
The SLR Lounge Warm Vintage Pack is part of the Complete Vintage Photoshop Action Pack [click to view] and contains warm toned (yellow, orange, red) vintage effects. It contain a total of 16 Effect actions.
The Warm Vintage Pack Effect Actions are designed to be used by themselves, as well as in conjunction with other SLR Lounge Vintage Action Packs (what we refer to as Mixology). The Tweaks, which are only included with the Base Vintage Pack, will allow you to fine tune your images final look.
Warm Vintage Bright Washes
The Bright Wash Effect Style brightens the exposure of the image as well as fades the overall image contrast. This action pack contains the following Bright Wash effects:
Apricot + Bright Wash – Orange toned color tones with brightened exposure and faded contrast.
Crimson + Bright Wash – Red toned color tones with brightened exposure and faded contrast.
Warm Cross + Bright Wash – Warm color tones with added cross processing, brightened exposure and faded contrast.
Warm Vintage Neutral Punches
The Neutral Punch Effect Style uses the standard brightness of the image as well as boosts overall image contrast. This action pack contains the following Neutral Punch effects:
Apricot + Neutral Punch – Orange color tones with standard brightness and high contrast.
Crimson + Neutral Punch – Red color tones with standard brightness and high contrast.
Warm Cross + Neutral Punch - Warm color tones with added cross processing, standard brightness and high contrast.
Warm Vintage Neutral Washes
The Neutral Washes Effect Style uses the standard brightness of the image as well as washes and fades the overall image contrast. This action pack contains the following Neutral Wash effects:
Apricot + Neutral Wash – Orange toned image with standard brightness and faded overall contrast
Crimson + Neutral Wash – Red color tones with standard brightness and faded overall contrast
Warm Cross + Neutral Wash- Warm color tones with added cross processing, standard brightness and faded overall contrast
Warm Vintage Dark Washes
Designed for Mixology, the Dark Wash Effect Styles darkens the image exposure and fades the overall contrast. This action pack contains the following Dark Wash effects:
Apricot + Dark Wash – Apricot color tones with darkened exposure and faded contrast
Crimson + Dark Wash – Red color tones with darkened exposure and faded contrast
Warm Cross + Dark Wash- Warm color tones with added cross processing, darkened exposure and faded contrast

Color Tone + Effect Style
The SLR Lounge Action System differs from other actions in that our system is not only extremely powerful, it is also incredibly simple and intuitive.
Each Effect Action is named based on a simple and intuitive formula :
Color Tone + Effect Style = Action Result
The Color Tone describes the colors that the effect will apply to the image, while the Effect Style describes the type of processing that will be applied. Each of which is discussed in more detail below.
The Warm Vintage Color Scheme
Each SLR Lounge Action Set is designed and grouped by it’s color schema. The Warm Vintage Set has a color scheme based on a warmed vintage look as described below, and shown in the image to the right.
Apricot – Orange tones
Crimson – Red Tones
Warm Cross – Warm toned with cross processing
Effect Styles
There are 4 Effect Styles in all of the SLR Lounge Vintage Action Packs which are described below:
Neutral Punch – Unbrightened and high contrast
Neutral Wash – Unbrightened and faded
Dark Wash – Darkened and faded
