We are excited to bring you our latest tutorial on brainstorming, casting, executing, lighting, shooting, and post producing a creative conceptual shoot. In this DVD, we join award-winning photographer and SLR Lounge editor, Lauri Laukkanen, as he takes us to the caves of Finland for his creative concept of a wounded WWII soldier.

You’ll learn how Lauri comes up with his ideas via his brainstorming methods. You’ll learn where he finds his models, makeup artists and other talent for the shoot. You’ll also learn the lighting techniques he uses. The bulk of the DVD is in his post production where you’ll follow along with the included exercise files as Lauri uses Lightroom and Photoshop to add the extra fixes, enhancements, and final touches on the images.

    awesome! high fashion!

Nice make-up, but I would’ve liked a bit more of a story (why is this man here and what is he doing). Now he’s obviously only posing. Also the more modern camouflage used on his shirt takes away credibility from this “story”. Keep up the good work!
