Photos from the Olympics 104 Years Ago
We have seen how sports like baseball have evolved in the last century, but have you ever wondered how the Olympics were 100 years ago? NPR’s The Picture Show recently posted the photos from the 1908 London Olympics, which featured events such as pistol-dueling, tug of war, and red rover. It was also only the third Games where women were allowed to compete.
It’s a great picture article complete with captions of the atheletes in the photos. Be sure to read the NPR article to learn more about the 1908 London Olympics and see more photos. Thanks to FStoppers for the heads up!
