Parody Pokes fun at Dove’s Natural Beauty Campaign

As many of you know Dove has been waging war on Photoshop and retouching through their Natural Beauty campaign. They have been doing this for quite a while now, the idea is that they are focusing on trying to get women to feel better about how they look, and part of that strategy is by attacking Photoshop and retouching use in advertising.

Whatever your thoughts on Dove and their “War on Photoshop” you have to at least be moved by the effort to help women feel better about themselves.  To a point I agree with Dove’s campaign, but I also feel that retouching and Photoshop gets way more of the backlash than it deserves.

Anyway – Today I came across a funny video aimed at men that is supposed to parody one of the Dove Natural beauty videos. I think it was a great parody, funny without being too over the top. Check it out below.

Haha reminds me of classic memes like this one: http://www.epiclol.com/how-girls-boys-see-themselves-in-the-mirror/

It’s often true though that guys see themselves in a much “brighter” light than women do.
