The following images are from a series called “Light Waves and Dark Currents” taken by Joel James Devlin, an independent photographer based in south east London, UK. Joel had the vision to place an LED light in a waterproof container, submerse it in various bodies of water, and capture the beauty with 40-minute exposures

Through years of commercial experience he has also acquired a thorough understanding and respect for digital technology, and enjoys using his skills to create original images. Joel is often working on personal projects but also welcomes commissioned work, and has recently enjoyed shooting for GQ Magazine and Tourism Australia.”
