Jeremy Cowart has developed quite a name for himself through his amazing photography, along with his ambitious non-profit organization Help Portrait.

Jeremy has shot celebrity icons including Tim Tebow, Taylor Swift, The Kardashians, Carrie Underwood, Sting, Brad Paisley, Ron Artest, Ryan Secrest, and so many more! But from a personal side, I have to say one of the most impressive things about Jeremy is that he is a simple, humble, down to earth guy. In fact, not once in our conversation did Jeremy name drop, toot his own horn, or anything; we wouldn’t blame him if he did, I mean look at that list of clientele, ha!

Perhaps his humble and approachable nature is one of the small things that contributes to his enormous success. Well, that and the fact that the man can create some pretty incredible images.

While Jeremy stays incredibly busy shooting, he still has time to give back through his own non-profit Help-Portrait. Jeremy created Help-Portrait to allow photographers to give back to their communities by photographing and helping build confidence of those less fortunate. Since inception, Help-Portrait has given over 169,000 portraits from over 15,500 photographers in 56 countries!

If that weren’t enough, Jeremy is also doing a LifeFinder tour teaching photographers around the country.

Jeremy is truly an inspiration, and in this interview we talk through several topics including: how Jeremy got his start in celebrity photography, concepts and visions behind shoots, what photographers need to stand out, favorite gear, and much more. Enjoy!
