I have a 50mm 1.4 that never gets used because I’ve always preferred my 85mm. I have a wide angle for landscapes/interiors/etc but as long as I can get far enough back, it’s all 85 for people.

I didn’t like those bright highlights on her one bit even though they are relatively even and soft from the lighting used.

At least, that’s what I personally think
Might be his particular style, but I feel he pushed the highlights too far.

Does everything explained in the video apply to crop cameras? i.e. – Would my 85mm f1.8 act similar to a true 135mm lens on a full frame body – and get the same results on the talents face and background?
