The majority of us probably do some sort of retouching to our work. Some of us, like myself, do a lot more because we do beauty/fashion retouching, or compositing. While I have use frequency separation (cloning, color correction, light sculpting w/ dodge & burn), Portraiture, and a bit of liquifying, I rarely go to the extent of master retoucher Gry Garness who uses warp and puppet-warp to transform to stretch torso, reshape legs, and lift upper body, as well as some Content-Aware Fill magic is used to rebuild the background. I’ve learned some really cool technique from her, as well as gain some respect on the attention to detail from a high-end professional retoucher.
