their quality at the same or lower prices is great and only because all the 
newbies/amateurs outside of asia tend to buy nikon or canon just because everyone does/tells them doesn’t make them weak

they should do more marketing imo – never saw a tv ad or online/magazine ads that really “pop”

In terms of camera quality Sony makes great cameras that can definitely throw their weight around with the big boys.
