When Sony approached Sony Artisan and National Geographic photographer David McLain on shooting with the Sony A99 full-frame DSLT, rather than merely shooting within the comfort of his own city, David went on a worldwide journey.

Through this journey, not only did he put the A99 through its paces, but David filmed this extraordinary film about finding our passion as photographers. That is why I found The Calling inspirational. It’s about why we shoot, why we leave our loved ones to travel to unknown locations, brave the weathers, spend our money, and yes, even sit deep into the night in front of our computers sorting and retouching our images.
