Dear Photograph: Past Meets Present

Featured Projects March 24th 2013 8:00 AM One Comment

This morning I wanted to feature a really neat project that I only recently came across. The project is called Dear Photograph.

Dear Photograph features images of people holding old pictures in the exact place they were taken years ago. It is usually done so that the old photo almost blends into the present day photo, and it creates a really neat look.

Some of the most powerful images to me on the site featured one or more people, it really helped sell the idea to me that the past was meeting the present. The image I really loved though was the one (featured below) where it showed the two young boys and the small tree in the background, but in the “present” part o the image the tree is now full sized. If you are like me and are fascinated by this project you too can be a part of the project, simply go to the Dear Photograph website and submit your own photos.
