Following up the versatile and popular M-Plate Pro, Custom SLR just released the more compact M-Plate Mini which discards the attach point for their C-Loop Camera Strap Mount.

Just like the M-Plate Pro, the new M-Plate Mini is still compatible with Arca-Swiss and Manfrotto compatible tripod heads. Having this universal mount in a smaller format is great for those who are not looking to use a sling strap on their DSLRs or those who use the smaller mirrorless interchangeable compact cameras.

The Mini will be available in November.

The M-Plate Mini is a universal camera tripod plate with the world’s first integrated tripod mount to work with most Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss connections, and modular attachment points for accessories. Durable and sturdy, yet lightweight, the M-Plate Mini provides a stable and a secure connection between camera and tripod head, making for smooth and easy transition to Arca-Swiss and Manfrotto RC2 heads. Weighs 1.3 oz. Made in USA.

Built-in Manfrotto RC2 + Arca-Swiss Quick Release: Extra mounting holes make it compatible with virtually any tripod plate. See Built-in RC2 and Arca-Swiss Mount Compatibility List.
Durable: Made from aerospace grade aluminum and hard anodized for a superior black finish.
Accessories: Connects with future photo and video attachments, including flash brackets and video rigs that are currently in development.
