Being a stay at home parent is a non stop job, we are constantly wrangling the needs of the children with little regard for our own needs. One creative mother found a way to spend some fun time on her own while the baby is taking naps, turning each nap-time into a new dreamland adventure.
Photographer/Mother Queenie Liao recently shared the adventures that her child Wengenn dreams of during his sleep. The project is called “Wengenn in Wonderland” and as we just mentioned it features over 100 images of her son on all of these dream adventures while napping. Take a look at a neat selection from the project below:
I think that these are great! As a stay at home parent myself I can sympathize with any other parent trying to find time to work on their photography while still taking care of the kids. This idea is a great way to do both, and have fun doing both. It has inspired me to get out and try some fun and creative concepts of my own with my two young kids.
Not only that but years later these will be very memorable family treasures. Enough of my blabbering though, check out some more of the shots from this amazingly creative set.
Combine this project with the cute newborn props/costumes post that we shared a few days ago and you should have plenty of inspiration for you and your kids to experiment with for the immediate future.
